Sabita Public School, Chandauli began its journey on 01 March 2019. It was founded by Sri Ram Ashish Singh, who believed that every child in rural Bihar deserves good schooling close to home.
The school follows a curriculum based on the CBSE pattern and is run & managed by the Sabita Educational & Social Welfare Trust (Trust Reg. No. 3305/2019), under the guidance of President Prof. (Dr.) Chandrama Singh, Secretary Er. Abhay Kumar Singh and Treasurer Pratap Shekhar Singh (Senior Journalist).
Day-to-day leadership is provided by School Director Pratap Shekhar Singh, Principal Mithun Kumar Singh and Academic Coordinator Savita Kumari, together with a dedicated team of teachers and staff.
The school is named in loving memory of Late Smt. Sabita Kumari (Bihar Education Service), whose life of honest and devoted service to education is our inspiration.
A woman officer dedicated to education and service, in whose name our school was founded.
Late Smt. Sabita Kumari served with sincerity throughout her career in various posts of the Bihar Education Service. Even today she is remembered for her honesty, efficiency and devoted spirit of service.
While inspecting schools, she always encouraged students and teachers, and she was always ready to support teachers. Alongside her family and social responsibilities, she took an active part in social work. Even while suffering from cancer, she was always present on time for her household duties and at her places of service.
That is why her husband, Dr. Chandrama Singh, with the consent of the entire family, started an educational institution in her name through an education-service trust – in its first phase in his own village – to provide systematic education for boys and girls up to the 10+2 level with qualified teachers. Sabita Public School was founded on 01 March 2019, the anniversary of her passing, and carries forward her name and her ideals.
शिक्षा एवं सेवा को समर्पित महिला पदाधिकारी – स्व० सबिता कुमारी (10/02/1960 – 01/03/2008)
बिहार शिक्षा-सेवा के विविध पदों पर निष्ठा के साथ अपने पूरे सेवाकाल में कार्य करने वाली स्व० सबिता कुमारी को उनकी ईमानदारी, कार्यकुशलता एवं समर्पित सेवा-भावना के लिये आज भी याद किया जाता है। उन्होंने अपने कार्यकाल में विद्यालयों के निरीक्षण के क्रम में छात्र-छात्राओं एवं शिक्षकों को हमेशा प्रोत्साहित किया, शिक्षकों के सहयोग के लिए वे हमेशा तत्पर रहीं। पारिवारिक एवं सामाजिक दायित्वों का निर्वाह करते हुए उन्होंने सामाजिक कार्यों में भी बढ़-चढ़ कर हिस्सा लिया। कैंसर-ग्रस्त होने के बावजूद वे गृहकार्य एवं सेवा से सम्बंधित जगहों पर ससमय उपस्थित रहीं।
यही कारण है कि उनके पति डॉ० चन्द्रमा सिंह ने उनकी याद में शिक्षा-सेवा ट्रस्ट के माध्यम से, शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में सेवा देने के लिए उनके नाम पर अपने पूरे परिवार की सहमति से पहले चरण में अपने गाँव में बालक-बालिकाओं के लिए 10+2 स्तर तक की व्यवस्थित शिक्षा के लिए योग्य शिक्षकों के साथ, शिक्षण-संस्थान की शुरुआत की है।
